We live in a world where no one, not even innocent children, escape tragedy, injustice and suffering. Life is hard. Life is unfair. Life hurts. But, God is good. How can this be? And, does God address the topic of suffering in His Word? The answer is a clear “yes”. At the center of the story-line of the Bible is Jesus Christ whom the prophet Isaiah called “the Man of sorrows” who carried all the sorrows and pain of humanity to the Cross. In a world that has strayed from God there is inevitable sorrow and pain, but Jesus has died carrying your sorrows in order to become your healer.
