Series: Romans

You are called to offer yourself to God as a “living sacrifice”. What is that? A sacrifice was usually the dead body of an animal presented to God on an altar of fire which was then eaten by the priests, and that was the end of the animal. It had no more existence once sacrificed. But God calls you to live a lifestyle as a sacrifice to him; to lay your life down each day upon the altar. You are called to offer Him your body with all its parts - brain, eyes, ears, hands, feet, sexuality, and to offer Him your spirit with all its parts – mind, emotions, attitudes and will. The result is an inward ability to discern God’s will for your life.
