Series: Romans

The Apostle Paul grieved because his fellow Jews were rejecting Jesus. He loved them so much that he would have given up his own salvation if somehow it would’ve led to their salvation. This is the kind of love for people that makes a difference in the world. If Paul had loved people less than that he would never have been willing to suffer all that he did over three decades of sharing the gospel with people. He would have found a Christian comfort zone to live in, a safe place at a safe distance from “offensive sinners”.
