The other day I received a letter from Compassion International. The youth at Imago Dei Student Ministry sponsor a young girl in Ethiopia and from time to time we get updates on her life and the ministry that Compassion is a part of. Our church family pulled together in an amazing way this past weekend to help meet some really big needs in our community. $2,241.00 was raised between the two services on Sunday! We’re excited to divide this amount between our local Lemont Food Pantry and Convoy of Hope (an international organization distributing food worldwide.)
